From May 29 to June 3, Wang Xudong, Party Secretary of the China Conservatory of Music, led a delegation to Russia. They participated in the 150th anniversary celebration of the founder of the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music and made a return visit to the school. The delegation held talks with senior officials and department heads of the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music, reaching a consensus on strengthening Sino-Russian music cultural exchanges, mutual visits of teachers, student exchanges, and joint performances. They also discussed establishing the "Sino-Russian Music Culture Research Center." Additionally, the delegation visited the St. Petersburg Conservatory and refined cooperation plans for mutual visits of ethnic orchestras, teacher exchanges, and student exchanges. This visit actively responded to the China-Russia Years of Culture, deepening exchanges and cooperation in the field of music education between China and Russia, contributing to cultural mutual learning between the two countries.
