During Spring Festival holiday that has just passed, a variety show by CCTV  overwhelmed in WeChat moments. Ancient Chinese poems such as On the Stork Tower, Love in Vain and Mosses flow in beautiful rhythms, the beauty of poems and music is displayed thoroughly. Traditional culture shines brightly. This is the  Everlasting Classics, which scored 9/10 on Douban. WANG Liguang, President of China Conservatory of Music, is one of the judges of such a hot and large-scale culture program.

WANG Liguang can’t conceal his joy seeing that such a good program is being spread and loved by the general audience. How to increase the recipients’ awareness and appreciation of traditional culture through mass media becomes the issue he pays most attention to. Therefore, as the new member of CPPCC National Committee, Wang put forward his proposal in the CPPCC, proposing aesthetic education to the grass-root and the public——building an aesthetic education system for all the people based on cultural centers in the villages and towns in the whole country.

WANG Liguang said that: “there are 2,864 counties in China, 10 to 20 villages and towns in each county and 320,000 elementary schools. Building education institutions in thousands and billions of platforms will form a smooth channel for cultural communication.”

It is the root of education and the direction of artistic creation to be ordinary and excellence. It has always been the intention of President WANG Liguang to encourage more works of excellence to appear in the classes of elementary and secondary schools so that children have their own chants, and be able to build cultural confidence during their young age and imprint their life with excellent traditional Chinese culture.
