On the afternoon of April 16th, President Li Xincao of the China Conservatory of Music met with President Jonas Wright and his delegation from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Stephen Horowitz, the Executive Director, and Professor Matt Levin from the American institution participated in the visit.
During the meeting, President Li Xincao welcomed the delegation from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and introduced the development history and achievements of his institution. There was a deep exchange about the unique disciplines and academic strengths of both schools, and they shared and agreed on opinions regarding future educational training models.
President Wright expressed a desire to expand on the existing student joint training programs by increasing the level of exchange studies and facilitating short-term faculty visits to provide a more diverse learning experience for both faculties and students.
After the meeting, President Li Xincao accompanied the San Francisco Conservatory of Music delegation on a tour of the campus.
Jin Ye, the Director of International Cooperation and Exchange, along with other relevant personnel, participated in the meeting.
