COOPERATIVE PROJECT
CHINA CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC“Sino-Austria academic cooperation project” is an international cooperation project co-founded by China Conservatory of Music, University of Music Performing and Fine Arts Salzburg, University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, and so on under the support of Beijing Municipal Education Commission and Eurasia-Pacific Uninet. Since its inception in October 2008, the project has been devoted to promote and do research on classical symphonies, chamber music, vocal music, solo performance. Their performance covers a variety of styles and musical genres. Sending Austrian teachers and professors to teach here and giving distance learning courses are some of the ways of teaching designed by this project. Some of the outstanding students in the project have also achieved excellent results in many international competitions. So far, the project has worked with our school orchestra, piano department and voice department, conducted a series of master classes, held a master class of dozens of times and numerous concerts in National Centre for the Performing Arts, Beijing Concert Hall the Austrian embassy in Beijing and other venues. The concerts were a huge success.
